In the anime

A band composed of two Darumaka appears in the episode saving Darmanitan. Darmanitan, the head of the small family of Pokémon, is locked inside the tower bell in zen mode: despite the food fornitogli by two specimens of Darumaka who are plundering the city he fails to retrieve its forces due to the constant use of the psychic attack with which makes levitate an enormous bell suspended above itself. The collapse of the bell, whose strain it is unhooked from the rod, would in fact cause the collapse of the building. Helped by Ash and his friends, Darmanitan manages to exit the Zen mode and reseat the bell: the two Darumaka can thus celebrate the saving of their house.
